What information do I need to provide?

After you make your order, our Sales member will send you an Order Confirmation Email with a Form to fill in the Illustration Brief. That Form includes all the necessary information we need before creating your character design (overview, personalities & highlights, example photos, branding colors and fonts, file format, etc). In this step, please make sure to include some example images, files or photos when you reply to our email if you have any.

What will I receive after making an order for 1 character?

The character design will be delivered in a high-resolution JPG/PNG in your chosen File Format (JPG/PNG, or AI/EPS/SVG/PDF/PSD if you choose the Source File Upgrade), in a transparent or simple-colored background. You have Unlimited Revision for each character design.

What if I need this character design as the Mascot Logo for my Business?

In this case, we suggest that you choose the Upgrade of Commercial Use or Exclusive Rights in the Usage section when you make your order. With this Usage, you have the Rights to use the design as your Business Mascot Logo.

 

What can I do with the Source File?

With a Source File - vector file (AI, SVG, EPS, PDF), you can adjust the details, colors later if you like, or freely rescale the design to any large size later if you want. This is highly recommended if you want to use the design for multiple products like tote bags, mugs, phone cases, etc.

You can also choose the Source Photoshop file with layers (PSD). It is also editable and easier to edit (change colors, text, character details, edit the size to be smaller), but it is not good if you want to rescale the design into a larger size later.

 

I need my design done in a shorter time, can you make it?

Of course, I can send the design to you with the same quality in a shorter time if you are willing to upgrade the order with 1 Day (Rush Delivery). After that, we will deliver the initial version to you in 1 working day, and send you the revised versions after that in a higher priority in our working lists. If you want a specific deadline date and time, just mention it by sending us a message, or write it in our email’s discussion.

 

What if I need this character design for Branding Purpose?

In this case, we trust you will need the design in multiple files with various proper formats for Social Media Profile Pictures and Banners, or Stationery Designs (for example Business card, Letterhead, Envelope). This is considered as a Custom Work. Please send us a message with some details of what you need, we will contact you later and send you a custom offer with a suitable cost and time delivery based on the designs you need.

 

Can you send the design in an editable Photoshop (PSD) file with layers?

Yes sure, I can send you Photoshop format, but please include this request firstly in the order page, because most of my illustrations are made in Adobe Illustrator. You will get the PSD file/source vector if you choose Premium Gig.

 

What if I need more than just 1 character offered in your Service?

This is considered as a Custom Work. In this case, you can send us a message with some details of all the characters you need. We will contact you later with a custom offer with a better price and time delivery.

 

What if I need a Cute Pattern with multiple characters for Print-on-demand products?

Then please send us a message with your brief, we will send you a custom offer after hearing from you.

What if I want to add my character to a background (a jungle scene for my monkey character for example)?

In this case, you can send us a message with some details of all the background scene you need. We will contact you later with a custom offer based on the complexity of the background you request.

Or if you make your order already, just mention this in our discussion via email, we will send you an offer for this extra service.

 

What if I need more poses for my Character Design?

After you approve the Final Version of the Character, we can work on this step if you want. Just send us a message to notify about this, or mention this in our discussion via email.

What if I need the Whole Book (multiple pages) with a different number of characters per page?

In this case, please send me your Brief with your description of the whole book before making your order. I will send you a custom offer with a better price and shorter time delivery too.

How about Copyrights and Usage?

For Basic Service: you can use the Final Version of the Design for Non-Commercial Purposes (not for reselling or promoting purposes in any cases), and we still own the Copyrights of the design.

For the Upgrade of Commercial Use or Exclusive Rights in the Usage section: after the order is completed, you have the Commercial Use of the Final Version of the Character Design. You can edit the character later if you want, or put it on your products for commercial purpose.

If you want to own the Copyrights to use other version(s) in the revision steps, please mention it in our discussion and we will send you an offer for that extra.

We still keep the Copyrights (to reuse and promote) the versions that you don't choose during the revision steps. Or in the case that you ask for a refund, the design’s copyright belongs to us.

What can I do with the Basic Service with Non-Commercial Use?

You can use that illustration as a gift for your friends, family, have it printed in your book (not for sale), or decorate your house, or post it on your personal social media’s posts and profile picture just for fun.

If you like to use it for other promotional/commercial purpose (reselling in any different form, or to promote the products you are selling), please purchase the Commercial Use or Exclusive Rights in the Usage section.

 

Do you have a better price for bulk orders or repeated clients?

Sure, we always have a thank-you coupon for our clients after an order is completed, or a discount rate of 10% or 20% for bulk orders (with multiple characters or designs). For more information, just contact us!

 

Can I ask for Commercial Use of my design after I check my Character Design?

Sure, in this case, just mention it in our discussion via email. We will send you an offer with an extra cost for this Upgrade (Commercial Use or Exclusive Rights).

 

What are Unlimited Revisions?

After we deliver the design to you via email, you can ask for Unlimited Revision (unlimited changes or adjustments) following your Initial Request on the Illustration Brief until you feel satisfied with the final Character Design. Each revision takes 24h on working days after receiving your feedback (Monday to Friday, and longer on weekends), so please ask for revisions on weekdays so we can support you sooner!

For Custom Work (with multiple designs), the time of revision can be longer. We will estimate the time and tell you when we respond to your email each time we receive your feedback.

If you change your idea after receiving our design (the first and revised versions we deliver to you based on your Initial Request on your Brief), there will be an extra cost per time we receive an Additional Revision from you. (Anyways, we can still edit the design without charge if it is just a minor change.)

 

When will I receive the Character Design?

Normally it takes 3 days for the Initial Version after we receive your Illustration Brief (maximum time, we will try to deliver sooner if possible).

When we work on the next steps or if you ask for revisions, it will take more time depending on the scope of later work (1 day or more). We don’t guarantee the exact time you will receive the final version, but based on our previous designs for clients, the average delivery time of the finished design is 7-10 days.

What if I change my mind and have a different Request after receiving the character design?

If you change your idea after receiving our design (the first and revised versions we deliver to you based on your Initial Request on your Brief), there will be an extra cost per time we receive an Additional Revision from you. (Anyways, we can still edit the design without charge if it is just a minor change.)

 

I don’t need a high-resolution file for printing, I just need a low-resolution PNG or GIF to post on my website or blog (to save my hosting memory space). What should I choose when I make my order?

In this case, just choose the Standard Paper Size and mention that you need another low-resolution file, and write the exact dimension you need in your Illustration Brief (for example, 500x500 pixel, transparent PNG, 72dpi). We will send you both files (in high-resolution and low-resolution) - in case you want to print the character later and you still have the proper file to do it.

 

What if I need the same character design for multiple products with different file dimensions?

The Basic Service includes 1 file dimension only. If you need different image files for printing or uploading on different print-on-demand platforms, just let us know your product list, we will send you an additional offer for creating different file sizes for you. Or you can upgrade the service by choosing the Source File in File section when you make your order and change the sizes yourself without any additional fee later.

 

I prefer to have a suitable file for t-shirt selling, not to print out on paper. What should I choose when I make my order?

If you prefer a file standard for uploading on t-shirt and merchandise platforms (for example Printful, Teespring, Spreadshirt, etc), just mention this in the Illustration Brief (you will receive it after making your order). In this case, we will create a transparent PNG in 4500x5400 pixel, 300dpi for you (the most common file format to upload on t-shirt selling platforms), or another size if you request.

 

Can you do nursery poster design too?

Sure, if you need nursery wall art, milestone blankets, baby bibs with cute characters/animals, just leave us a message. We will send you an offer after checking the job details!

Can you design a tote bag or poster?

Yes, sure! We can create all Print-on-demand products, for example: Mug, Tote Bag, Art Print, Drawstring Bag, Poster, Towels, Blanket, Duvet Cover. If you need these designs, just send us a message to request for a Custom Work, thank you!

 

What if I need more designs for my branding rather than the Mascot Character that you offer?

We have multiple services related to character designs, product designs, branding identity for you. You can just send us a message with some information about the designs you need for your brand, we will contact you later and send you a custom offer with a suitable cost and time delivery based on the designs you need. I need some designs to promote my books or products on Facebook and Twitter, can you do it?

Sure! We can send you a photo of a lovely girl/kid reading your book, a book mockup with your cover, or a photo of a real mug on a table with your design on it and so on. With that image, you can use it as your social media’s banner, or post it on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. Please send us a message with your request, or mention it in our discussion via email if you need this service.

What is your Refund Policy?

After the FIRST delivery, if you feel our style is not what you are looking for, just mention your request for a refund in your response email, we will send a 100% refund. You cannot ask for a refund after we work on any revision, or after you approve the design.
