A. FOR SINGLE CHARACTER DESIGN:

 

This process is applied for all products in the Single Character Designs Collection in which you will pay before we start working on the designs, with 1 character per order.

 

 

1. Illustration Brief:

• When you make your order, please make sure to fill in your Contact Email + A Brief Request on the Character Design. 

• Our Sales member will send you an Order Confirmation Email with a Form to fill in the Illustration Brief (within 1 working day after you make your order, from Monday to Friday).

• Please reply to that email with your requirement on the character design (overview, personalities & highlights, example photos, branding colors and fonts, file format, etc).

 

Note: This is the most important step. Please write all your ideas/thoughts in this step, as well as attach all files for references (some example images, files or photos with the designing style you like) so that I can understand what you need. If I have any questions, I will ask you via Email before starting Step 2, so please stay in touch during this step.

 

2. Initial Version: 

• The Initial Version of your Design will be sent to your email within 3 working days (Monday-Friday) after we receive your Illustration Brief with all information needed to make the design.

• If you prefer to have Multiple Concepts of the Character (with an extra budget) in this step to choose from, just mention this in our discussion via email. We will send you an extra offer for this service.

 

Note: You can ask for a 100% Refund in this step if you feel our style is not what you need. (After we work on Revision, you can’t ask for a refund).

 

3. Revision: 

• You review the Initial Version and send us feedback, then we will revise the design together.

• This service includes Unlimited Revisions until you agree with the design.

• Each revision takes 1 working day after receiving your feedback. The average delivery time of the finished design is 7-10 days depending on this step.

 

Note: 

• Unlimited Revision will be considered based on your initial request on the Illustration Brief. If you change your idea after receiving the Initial Version, there will be an extra cost for that additional request.

• The Initial Version and Revised Version(s) will be delivered in low-resolution JPG/PNG only, just for you to check how the Character Design looks like.

 

 

4. Final Version: 

• After you approve the final version, your Character Design will be delivered to your email in your optional high-resolution image file format (JPG/PNG).

• In case you upgrade the order with the Vector file to edit later (AI/SVG/EPS/PDF), the vector of the final version will be sent to you after you approve the Character.

• If you need a Photoshop file with layers to edit the design later (PSD), please mention this in our discussion via email.

 

 

B. FOR CUSTOM WORK:

 

This process is applied for all projects related to Custom Work Collection (Mascot Designs, Children Illustrations, GIF Animations, Letterings, Product Designs, Merchandise Designs, Branding Identity Designs).

 

 

1. Illustration Brief:

• You fill in your Contact Email + A Brief Request on the Illustration Project and send us some ideas about the project on our website Nikki Studio. 

• Our Sales member will send you an Order Confirmation Email with a Form to fill in the Project Brief (within 1 working day after you make your order, from Monday to Friday).

• Please reply to that email with your requirement on the whole project by replying to all questions in the Project Brief Form. They will be really helpful for us to send you details about the suitable Budget, Working Timeline and Detailed Process for your Project.

 

Note: This is the most important step. Please write all your ideas/thoughts in this step, as well as attach all files for references (some example images, files or photos with the designing style you like) so that I can understand what you need. If I have any questions, I will ask you via Email before starting Step 2, so please stay in touch during this step.

 

• After you agree on the Budget and Working Timeline, please send us 30% of the Agreed Budget and we will start working on the Project after that.

 

2. Rough Sketch Version: 

• The rough Sketch Outline Version of all illustrations will be created based on the discussed Illustration Brief and sent to your email within the Agreed Timeline for this step.

 

3. Sketch Revision: 

• You review the sketches and send us feedback, then we will revise the sketches together.

• This service includes Unlimited Revisions until you agree with the sketches.

• Depending on the scope of work needed in each revision, we will estimate the time needed each time before sending you the next revised version.

• You approve all the sketches and send us 30% of the Agreed Budget, then we come to the Finalized Version of all Illustrations.  

 

 

Note: 

• Unlimited Revision will be considered based on your initial request on the Illustration Brief. If you change your idea after receiving the Initial Version, there will be an extra cost for that additional request.

• All of the Sketches and Revised Version(s) will be delivered in low-resolution JPG/PNG only, just for you to check how the Character Design looks like.

 

4. Finalized Version:

• We work on the designs/illustrations (vectorize & add color if needed) based on the approved sketches.

• You review the designs/illustrations and send us feedback, then we will revise the designs/illustrations together.

 

 

4. Complete the Project: 

• You approve all the Final Illustration and send us the remaining payment (40% of the Agreed Budget and the extra payment if you decide to upgrade anything, or we have any additional changing requests while we work together in the project).

• All Illustrations included in the Project will be delivered to your email in your optional high-resolution image file format (JPG/PNG).

 

Note: 

• In case you upgrade the order with the Vector file to edit later (AI/SVG/EPS/PDF), the vector of the Final Version will be sent to you after you approve the Character.

• If you need a Photoshop file with layers to edit the design later (PSD), please mention this in our discussion via email.
